The Story of Ann O. Nimus

I got involved with Jehovah's Witnesses, when I was about twelve or thirteen years old.  Because of the laws where I live, they had no right to drag me into their Watchtower Society, because they could face a fine or a prison sentence, at worst.  I made "friends" within the congregation at the Kingdom Hall, as I was very naive and clueless back then and I had no actual friends.

At first, everything seemed ideal.  They looked like nice people, who were very polite and they seemed to be my friends.  When I became more involved by studying the bible with them, their attitude changed.  It was obvious that all they cared about was the time they spent on our bible study, in order to meet their quota of preaching time on their freaking "field service" time sheets.  Then they began patronizing me and quickly became control-freaks.  They thought they had every god-given right to tell me what to do, but they wouldn't even associate socially with me.  I eventually got fed up and pulled out in time.  I could go on forever about this disgusting cult.
